Carissa Coats

Carissa Coats

Trustee

Carissa Coats has lived most of her adult life in Bonneville County after being relocated for work from her family home in West Jordan, Utah. She fell in love with the area and the people of this great State and knew it is where she wanted to raise her family. Carissa and her husband Michael have 4 children and a dog who thinks he deserves just as much attention. Her children are currently enrolled at schools in Bonneville Joint School District 93 and she has learned to see education in a different light having to navigate the special education programs for one of her daughters.

Carissa graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with emphasis in both broadcast journalism and public relations. She is an Associate real estate broker with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Voigt Davis, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Greater Idaho Falls Association of Realtors.

Carissa represents Zone 2 - Ammon Elementary School, Hillview Elementary School, Tiebreaker Elementary School, Sandcreek Middle School and Hillcrest High School. Her term expires in 2026.
