About D93

About Bonneville Joint School District 93

At Bonneville Joint School District 93 (D93), our mission is simple and bold — to prepare today’s learners for tomorrow’s success. Guided by our promise of Designing Success for Every Student, we are committed to creating schools where every learner feels safe, connected, and cared for, and where learning inspires curiosity, confidence, and character.

Serving more than 13,000 students, D93 is Idaho’s third-largest school district, encompassing parts of Bonneville and Bingham Counties, including portions of Idaho Falls and the cities of Ammon, Iona, and Ucon.

Our district includes:

  • 15 elementary schools, including Bonneville Online Elementary

  • Four middle schools

  • Seven high schools, including Bonneville, Hillcrest, Thunder Ridge, Technical Careers, Bonneville Online, Lincoln High School, and Bonneville Online Academy, serving at-risk students through an alternative online model. All high schools are accredited by Cognia.

We’re excited to welcome Willow Creek Elementary in Fall 2026 and to launch the Ammon Honors Academy, a reimagined magnet school offering an individualized and rigorous learning experience.

Through the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) model, our teachers collaborate to ensure every student learns at high levels. Our commitment extends beyond academics—fostering the social, emotional, and career-ready skills students need to thrive.

From its humble beginnings in 1950, when ten one-room school districts consolidated, District 93 has grown into one of Idaho’s leading school systems—the third-largest in the state and widely recognized for excellence in both academic achievement and extracurricular performance.
